Kathy ToonFounding Coach & President
Kathy Toon is a nationally-recognized sport psychology consultant, speaker, blogger, coach and author. Her past and current clients include USTA, USPTA, Prince, US Sailing, US Lacrosse, Positive Coaching Alliance, and numerous colleges and high schools. A National Coach of the Year in tennis, at the University of California, Berkeley, Kathy holds degrees in: Sports Medicine & Nutrition, Sport Psychology and Throwing the Perfect Spiral.

Coach Brogan recently retired after 29 years at the helm of University of California, Berkeley, Women’s Tennis. At Cal, Coach Brogran was known for her holistic approach to coaching and building successful team culture. A Hall of Fame inductee at both USTA Northern California and at Cal Athletics, Jan is one of the most successful coaches in NCAA history. In addition to being ranked in the Top 10, nineteen times with a total of twenty-six NCAA appearances, her teams were well known for discipline and high-academic achievement.When she’s not teaching or developing content for GlamSlamTennis, Jan runs a performance coaching practice, Conscious Coaching, which integrates sport psychology and awareness practice into player, parent,and coach development.

Amy JensenFounding Coach, and USPTA P-1 Teaching Pro; NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist
The Australian native is a former Cal Bear and 5-time All-American. She posted a career record of 105-52 in singles and a remarkable 94-29 record in doubles. Jensen won NCAA doubles titles in 1998, 1999 and 2000, which is an NCAA record. Amy has also played all the junior grand slams, held WTA professional rankings in singles and doubles, and played in both the US Open and Australian Open. Jensen has coached every level of the game – from the beginning player, top ranked juniors, high school tennis, division III tennis at Mills College, and also Division I tennis for 10 years.When she’s not coaching or developing content for GlamSlamTennis, Amy is the Manager of Player Development for USTA Northern California. This involves overseeing junior tennis in the NorCal section and helping the best young players achieve their potential. Jensen has also taught tennis at Piping Rock Country Club (Long Island), San Francisco Tennis Club, The Olympic Club, and also at Harbor Bay Club in Alameda. Amy currently enjoy part time teaching with a select group of passionate Bay Area female players who are rated anywhere from 2.5 to 5.5.
